Description

Spiralburst Studio is developing the app version of The Guild of Merchant Explorers! This strategy board game was designed by Matthew Dunstan and Brett J. Gilbert, and it was nominated for the Kennerspiel des Jahres award in 2024.

The app will feature online multiplayer, computer opponents, and a Daily Challenge for players to compete in. The 4 base game maps and solo mode will be included, and the maps from The Queen's Special Order expansion will eventually be implemented as well.

The app will take care of all setup, shuffling, and scoring, so you can quickly play as many games as you'd like and focus on improving your strategies!

The Guild of Merchant Explorers is played on beautifully drawn maps with hexagonal terrain spaces. A card is revealed each round, indicating the terrain types that all players may simultaneously explore. Players aim to create villages, complete trade routes, and fulfill objectives, but strategies diverge as players gain unique Investigate cards with special exploration abilities!
